After teaching and dancing professionally for 16 years, Debra attended The Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 1995.  Debra has multiple areas of specializations including Swedish massage, therapeutic exercise and stretching techniques, lymphatic drainage, oncology massage, pregnancy, perinatal, and infant massage, and sports massage.  An added area of Debra’s expertise is in energy work including Reiki and healing touch.

“My goals are to reduce pain and stress and to aid in reinforcing the natural healing process of the body.  I custom design my massage by listening to each client and with them create a treatment that would best suit their individual needs.  A sense of deep relaxation and well being along with a therapeutic outcome is my goal.”

 

Elizabeth Cappo Gallo

Registered Yoga teacher

Elizabeth Gallo studies and teaches yoga in Evanston, Illinois.  A graduate of the ShaktiBody yoga teacher training program in Maplewood, NJ, Elizabeth also holds certifications in prenatal and baby and me yoga.  She is certified in Curvy Yoga and chair yoga, further expanding the populations with which she can share this practice. Elizabeth is currently working towards her advanced certifications through master teacher Cora Wen with a focus on yoga therapeutics.  In addition to teaching public and private yoga classes, Elizabeth is an accomplished writer, and contributes to Teachasana, the website for yoga teachers. She has recently published essays in Curvy Voices, an anthology of body-centered writing and The Creative Dance of Yoga and Art. Her poems have been published in numerous literary journals.
